Top Nigerian Blogger Linda Ikeji on February 3rd released her first movie Dark October on Netflix amidst many controversies.

The movie which had been publicised before its release was met with much criticism and praise.

Linda Ikeji who has been wrapped up in some controversies in the past is being blamed for not letting sleeping dogs lie as her movie is a replay of a tragic incident of 2012. The incident which involved the mobbing and killing of four University students had throwb the nation in distress.

Needless to say, the parents of the four boys, unjustly murdered through jungle justice are yet to recover from the sad occurrence many years later.

According to reports, the movie is a tragedy for them and they gave no consent to the producer Linda Ikeji who went ahead to produce all the same.

Critics have bashed Linda for trying to make profit off the pain of others by producing a story of the Aluu4 as the four victims are referred to till date.

Some have said that Linda Ikeji lacks “emotional sensitivity”

Those who have seen the movie say it is like reliving those tough times.
