Singer Tems has won her first Grammy’s last Sunday and Nigerians are happy for the talented songwriter and vocalist.

Tems who is fast becoming the most sought after African female vocalist rose drastically after featuring on Wizkid’s Internationally accepted song Essence, and since then, its been a tale of grace.

Although the singer had recorded and Published a couple of songs before Essence, it is worthy to note that Essence shot her into limelight and made her open to the world.

Her voice which was heard on Essence due to the songs popularity made others seek her for a collaboration leading to her duet with American rapper Future.

Tems becoming the first Nigerian female to win a Grammy is not only a win for her but also a channel of recollection as aporeciation as the singer will definitely not be forgetting Wizkid in a long time!
