It is not news that Nigerian movies no longer excite us, the news of their arrival no longer intrigues us. This is owing to the fact that most times, there is nothing new to see.

However the month of April got the internet buzzing with the news of a new Nigerian movie. A movie which promised a newness alien to us, which also promised to be original and epic.

The movie King of Thieves (Agẹsinkólé) was produced by actor Femi Adebayo ìn collaboration with Niyi Akinmolayan of Ant hills Production.

Released into the cinema on Friday April 8, Nigerians have trooped out to see this movie and we can’t help but marvel at the type of review we have seen so far.

Not only is the movie Epic as promised, it is also a shift from the norm in terms of Yoruba movie Production. Attention to details and dialogue got us glued.

Who would have thought we would love listening to incantations? As a matter of fact, the incantations in King of Thieves Movie had us singing along.

If you have not seen this movie, make plans to do so… With top stars like Toyin Abraham, Odunlade Adekola, Adebayo Salami, Fẹmi Adebayo, Adedimeji Lateef, Ibrahim Chatta and a host of others.
