CULTURE, TRADITION IN RICH DISPLAY AS WARRI CROWNS NEW KING.

On Saturday August 21 2021, the crown Prince of Warri was crowned as King and this event is arguably one of the biggest events in the country so far!

An event rich in culture and tradition, an event that brought together Nigerian monarchs and too celebrities as all roads led Delta State.

The Prince, Omoba Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko now Ìlú of Warri was crowned amidst pomp and pageantry, ascending the throne of his fore fathers in a ceremony attended by top Nigerian dignitaries including former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

The crowning of the Only of Warri was characterized by different highlights and moments, one moment however stood out for the people of Warri and this was the moment the newly crowned King stood on his feet to break ancestral curses on the land. This threw the land in a feat of jubilation.

Another worthy moment was the moment of crowning, the moment Prince Tsola went from Omoba to “Oba”!

Tradition, culture and the beauties embedded in them were in full display at the ceremony reminding us of the richness of our tradition.

This is definitely the most beautiful event of 2021 as far as culture and tradition are concerned.
