If there is one Nigerian festival that showcases the wealth, beauty and tradition of the Yoruba people in Nigeria, it would be the Ojude Oba Festival by the Ijebu people.
The Festival which happens shortly after the Id-il-fitr is one which showcases beauty, tradition, grandeur and of course wealth.
There is also an undertone of healthy competition as groups clamour to be the best as far as representation and looks are concerned.
The last Ojude Oba Festival was not different, as a matter of fact, we still cannot get over all the beauty that the day offered.
Women slayed effortlessly in their traditional adire materials, the colour combinations seemed planned and effortless. The men looked dashing and sophisticated in their looks too.
The pictures are bright like eye candies!
Ojude oba Festival is indeed a festival amongst festivals.
